81: What You Want Isn't Always What You Need; Unexpected Joys & Perfect Timing With Courtney Wendzicki – Meant to Bloom
Life is full of unexpected joys, but what about those times you were so sure you didn’t WANT this joy? We’re talking about unexpected second pregnancies. I think we don’t talk often enough how terrifying pregnancy can be even for a mama who’s been there before, even for a mama who’s been TRYING to conceive. One thing is for sure: excitement and fear are almost identical sensations, and sometimes we feel both at the same time.
Courtney was a one-and-done mama who recently had her mind changed for her. I’m so glad she’s here to share her story of how she changed her mindset and is fully embracing this new life with joy and excitement.
“Really take the time to acknowledge where you were and to how far you’ve come and if you don’t feel like there’s that much of a difference, it’s never too late to change that. I think that having those external resources will be the difference between how I navigated postpartum depression or anxiety back then versus how I may handle it now.” Courtney Wendzicki on comparing her current pregnancy to her first.

All About My Postpartum Journey With 3 Babies in 4 Years
Postpartum, the fourth trimester, this is where we really make that transition from mom-to-be, from expecting into becoming. Because someone, somewhere, needs to hear this right now: You are enough. Your baby loves you. Your body has done amazing things. You are not alone.
