Hack your playlist – play songs you can’t sit still to.
According to The Guardian: “music has been shown to improve both productivity and cognitive performance, especially in adults. Listening to music can help people manage anxiety, become motivated and stay productive. You just need to know how to make the right playlist.
They suggest that you use “a trick from music therapy. The concept is known as the iso principle, which is a technique therapists use to alter the mood of a patient. The therapist will match music to how the patient is feeling, and then gradually alter the songs to achieve the desired mood state.”
Hack your aromatherapy – use purposeful smell good products.
Citrus scents, peppermint, cypress
According to Healthline: “Other essential oils that claim to boost energy levels, mood, and focus ; cinnamon, boosts energy ; eucalyptus, stimulates the brain and improves energy.”

I have to give a shout out to my girl,Allie Casazza. I can’t talk about decluttering without mentioning the woman who changed my mom-life through this concept. She applies this to a lot more than your stuff, but today, for the sake of housework, we’re talking about a minimalist mindset.
Your things take up your time – Allie, so give a good thought to the things that you’re allowing to take up that precious time of yours. Protect your energy – your things take your energy to take care of, to maintain, to look at and feel disgust. It’s energy, and it should be precious to you.
